New Delhi, Nov. 15 -- Delhi Police has deported 23 foreign nationals, all from Africa, who were found to be overstaying in India without valid visas, an official said on Friday.
According to the police, the action, carried out in October of this year, was part of ongoing operations by the district police to curb illegal residence and movement of foreign nationals in the area.
"The operations involved multiple police stations, including Bindapur police station, Dabri police station, and Mohan Garden police station.
