New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- An inter-state coordination meeting was held on Thursday at the Delhi Police Headquarters ahead of the BRICS Summit scheduled from September 11 to 13.

The meeting was aimed to strengthen co-operation and co-ordination among various Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and to address issues related to ensuring incident-free summit.

The meeting was chaired by Delhi Police Commissioner, and attended by senior police officers from Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chandigarh.

The senior officers shared intelligence inputs including border checking, traffic regulation, verification of suspicious elements and related issues.
