New Delhi, March 8 -- Delhi Police observed International Women's Day 2026 across all its districts and units across the national capital through a series of awareness programmes, outreach initiatives, and community engagement activities.
Several events were organized in the run-up to, and on the occasion of the important day to promote women's safety awareness, and community participation to encourage women empowerment.
Key activities included self-defence training sessions, lectures on "Good Touch & Bad Touch", interaction sessions on cyber and social media awareness, health check-up camps, women's scooty rally, felicitation programmes, and women safety, along with legal awareness programmes.
