New Delhi, Sept. 11 -- Sources within the Special Cell informed UNI that a multi-state operation led to the detention of eleven suspects from the "Karnataka-Bengaluru region" as part of a terror module.

While most of them were later released due to lack of evidence, they remain under surveillance, the sources added.

A few of them are among the five terrorists arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police for plotting jihad in India, as part of a Pakistan-led pan-India 'Khilafat' terror module.

Though released, the suspects remain under surveillance as they were in direct contact with the five arrested alleged terrorists via social media apps.
