New Delhi, March 23 -- The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested an 18-year-old alleged operative of Pakistan-based gangster-turned-terrorist Shahzad Bhatti, an officer said on Monday, claiming to have busted a foreign-controlled terror module targeting youth through social media.
The accused, identified as Harmandeep Singh alias Harman, a resident of Rampur in Uttar Pradesh, was apprehended by a team of the Special Cell's Eastern Range.
Police said his arrest led to the dismantling of a syndicate being remotely operated by Bhatti and his foreign-based associates.
According to the investigators in this case, Harman was in regular contact with Bhatti and other handlers through social media platforms.
