New Delhi, March 24 -- Delhi Police has busted an alleged interstate investment fraud racket operating from Delhi and Mumbai by arresting 11 accused involved in duping victims on the pretext of high returns, an officer said today. According to police, the case came to light after a 60-year-old man was allegedly cheated of Rs 22.67 lakh through an online investment scam.
"An e-FIR was registered on November 21, 2025, after the victim reported being lured via a social media advertisement that misused a minister's speech to promote AI-based trading," said Amit Goel, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-west).
