New Delhi, Nov. 28 -- Delhi Police on Friday arrested a suspected gangster allegedly involved in the shooting incident at comedian Kapil Sharma's restaurant in Canada, an official said.
The suspect, Bandhu Man Singh, is reportedly a close associate of Canada-based gangster Goldy Dhillon, who is believed to be involved in multiple extortion rackets targeting businessmen and other high-profile individuals abroad.
"Singh had been coordinating with Dhillon's network and was part of a larger conspiracy to target the popular artist's restaurant as an act of intimidation," police official said at a press conference .
