New Delhi, July 15 -- Delhi Police's Special Cell has arrested alleged gangster Lokesh alias Surya, a wanted member of the Manjeet Mahal gang, from Gurugram and recovered a loaded revolver with six live cartridges from his possession.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell/SWR) Narra Chaitanya, Lokesh, who carried a Rs. 20,000 reward announced by Rajasthan Police, was apprehended following specific intelligence and sustained surveillance.Lokesh is accused of involvement in multiple serious crimes, including murder, attempted murder, extortion and dacoity.
Police also seized a Toyota Glanza car and a mobile phone from his possession.
