New Delhi, June 26 -- The North District Police on Friday said that they have arrested a man who targeted passengers at ISBT Kashmere Gate by befriending and offering them Frooti laced with sedative tablets.
After the victims lost consciousness, the accused used to steal their valuables.
The accused, identified as Philip alias Vicky, was arrested following a tip off.
A case in this respect was lodged by the police based on the complaints of a Mumbai resident.
The victim was drugged and robbed by the accused while waiting to board a bus.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Banthia said the accused was identified with the help of the Facial Recognition System (FRS) after investigators analysed CCTV footage from the bus terminal. A...
