New Delhi, May 14 -- In the latest update regarding the Janakpuri POCSO case, in which a three-year-old girl student was allegedly sexually assaulted inside a private school premises, the Delhi Police said on Thursday that they have arrested a female teacher from the school.
"Based on the evidence gathered so far, one female teacher has also been arrested. She will be produced before the court. A thorough investigation is being ensured in the case," the police said.
The education department of the Delhi Government had issued a show-cause notice to the school on May 8. However, the school did not reply to the said notice. The government is now considering taking over the school's administration.
