New Delhi, Aug. 9 -- Delhi-NCR is likely to remain under generally cloudy skies over the next few days, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting spells of light rain across the region and moderate rainfall at isolated places, particularly on August 10 and 11.
According to the IMD's latest weather bulletin, the monsoon trough continues to run from Bikaner through Gwalior, the centre of a low-pressure area over northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Chhattisgarh, Puri and further southeastwards into the east-central Bay of Bengal. The trough extends up to 3.1 km above mean sea level. A western disturbance also persists as a trough in the middle tropospheric westerlies.
