Pankaj JainNew Delhi, March 15 -- The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) recorded a steady rise in passenger journeys over the past two years, according to official data, reflecting increasing commuter usage across the Delhi-NCR Metro network.
Data released by DMRC shows that the Metro recorded 2,283.5 million passenger journeys in 2024, equivalent to around 223.5 crore journeys, with an average daily ridership of about 62.39 lakh passengers.
The numbers increased further in 2025, when the network registered 2,358.03 million passenger journeys, or about 235.8 crore journeys, translating into an average of 64.60 lakh passenger journeys per day.
