New Delhi, June 19 -- Delhi is likely to experience relief from the prevailing heat as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds over the next two days.
According to the IMD's daily weather bulletin issued on Friday evening, the city is expected to witness a partly cloudy sky with a spell of very light to light rain and thunderstorms during the night or early hours on Friday and again towards the afternoon or evening on Saturday and Sunday. Wind speeds may reach 40-50 kmph, gusting up to 60 kmph during thunderstorm activity.
