New Delhi, April 2 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Sandhu on Thursday paid a visit to the Delhi Traffic Police headquarters in Todapur, and reviewed progress of the Digital Enforcement framework, and stressed on scaling up the Artificial Intelligence for a round-the-clock transparent monitoring, along with scientific management of peak-hour traffic.
Sandhu noted that traffic snarls not only waste time and fuel, but also worsen pollution.
He emphasised greater on-ground visibility of traffic police, especially at congestion hotspots, in order to ensure smoother flow and also act as a deterrent.
