New Delhi, Oct. 27 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has directed the police to ensure the swift arrest of those involved in Sunday's acid attack on a 20-year-old Delhi University student.

In a post on X, Raj Niwas Delhi wrote that the LG has taken an extremely serious view of the recent unfortunate incident of acid attack in the Capital. "He has instructed the Commissioner of Police to ensure that the guilty are arrested and brought to book at the earliest and the most stringent punishment under law is sought for against them," the post read.
