New Delhi, June 8 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Monday chaired a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) along with Chief Minister Rekha Gupta to review ongoing operations against illegal buildings, misuse of fire safety licences and the national capital's preparedness for disasters.
The meeting was attended by Home Minister Ashish Sood, PWD Minister Parvesh Verma, the Chief Secretary, Delhi Police Commissioner, MCD Commissioner and other senior officials.
