New Delhi, June 5 -- : On the occasion of World Environment Day, Bhupender Yadav, Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, along with Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, launched the foundation for 18 'Namo Oxygen Parks' across Delhi from the Maidangarhi area in South Delhi on Friday.
The launch is expected to improve the city's air quality, boost urban greening efforts, and promote community-led environmental activities in the national capital.
During the event, saplings were planted by the Environment Minister and Chief Minister under the 'Ek Ped Maa ke Naam' initiative.
