Atul KrishanNew Delhi, May 20 -- The Delhi Jal Board has launched a School Awareness Education Programme aimed at promoting water conservation and educating students about water and sewage treatment systems across the national capital.
The initiative has been started under the flagship programme of Delhi's Water Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh and was conducted in its first phase between May 8 and May 15, 2026.
According to the Delhi Jal Board, the programme covered several prominent schools including Modern School, Saraswati Vidyalaya and New Era Public School.
Around 220 students and 16 teachers participated in the initiative, along with the Principal of Modern School, Vasant Vihar.
