New Delhi, June 4 -- Following the directions of Delhi Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh, the Department of Food Safety has intensified surveillance, inspection and enforcement activities across the national capital, collecting 217 food samples during May and initiating legal action against 12 food business operators for violations of prescribed food safety standards.
Reaffirming the Delhi Government's commitment to consumer health, Dr. Singh said the administration maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards food adulteration and food safety violations.
