New Delhi, June 4 -- The hotel owner in South Delhi's Malviya Nagar who was arrested in connection with the devastating fire that killed 21 people will be produced before the Saket Court on Thursday, with Delhi Police likely to seek his five-day custodial remand for further interrogation.
According to police sources, Flourish Stay Guest House owner Lavkesh Bajaj told investigators during questioning that he did not personally manage or oversee the day-to-day functioning of the premises. He allegedly claimed that operational responsibilities, including billing, accounts and overall management, had been delegated to another individual.
