New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- The Rekha Gupta government is considering an increase in the honorarium of Anganwadi workers, in a bid to give due recognition to their contribution and responsibilities.
According to Gupta, programmes to honour Anganwadi workers will be organised across all 70 Assembly constituencies of the national capital, starting September 23.
Under the ongoing 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan,' launched on the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Delhi Government is set to organise 'Aangan Ka Milan', to honour the contribution of its Anganwadi workers who ensure several services, especially to the marginalised with regard to child welfare and development.
