New Delhi, April 16 -- : Amid concerns of low tree transplantation rates, the Delhi government floated an Expression of Interest (EOI), inviting technically qualified agencies equipped with specialised machinery, trained manpower and scientific expertise to enhance the survival of transplanted trees in the national capital.
Issued by the forest department on Thursday, the EOI reiterated a minimum survival requirement of 80 per cent for transplanted trees over a one-year monitoring period, as mandated by the Tree Transplantation Policy, 2020, which was introduced by the then Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government.
