New Delhi, July 14 -- In a first-of-its-kind initiative to strengthen child protection through active parent-school partnership, the Delhi government has launched a city-wide child safety initiative through its upcoming 'Abhibhavak Shikshak Samvaad' on 25 July, with the theme "Child Safety and Protection."In these sessions, the teachers will interact with the parents on topics such as safe and unsafe touch, body autonomy, and the "No-Go-Tell" principle.
Online safety, cyber- bullying, online grooming, and responsible use of digital platforms will also be topics of discussion, while the role of School Child Protection Committees and mechanisms for reporting concerns will also be discussed with parents.
