New Delhi, May 14 -- The Delhi government, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to conserve fuel amid the current global situation, has decided to limit the use of official vehicles for departmental work, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced on Wednesday.
Gupta said all her Cabinet colleagues, BJP MLAs, public representatives, government departments and officials have started minimising vehicle usage as per requirement.
She added that carpooling and public transport would be given priority during this period.
She appealed to the residents of the national capital to do the same in a bid to help save fuel.
