Pankaj JainNew Delhi, Feb. 26 -- In view of the ongoing festive season and ahead of Holi, the Delhi government's Food Safety Department has carried out an intensive enforcement drive across the national capital to curb food adulteration and ensure compliance with safety standards.
During the special drive, a total of 66 food samples were lifed to ensure strict adherence to prescribed food safety norms and to initiate legal action wherever required.
Special inspection teams were deployed in major Khoya Mandis and Paneer Mandis to check the quality and safety standards of dairy products. Samples were collected and strict action has been initiated in cases where violations were found.
