New Delhi, June 24 -- The Delhi government today approved projects worth Rs 657.99 crore for strengthening of 270.63 kilometres of roads in the national capital, especially key roads across East, North and South Delhi.
The measure was approved at a meeting of the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC).
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the project, to be completed by October, would make Delhi's roads safer, more durable and of better quality.
The decision will improve the condition of several key roads across East, North and South Delhi and help strengthen road infrastructure in line with modern standards, she stated.
