New Delhi, May 14 -- In a horrific incident that has once again shaken the national capital, a 30-year-old woman was abducted and gang-raped inside a moving sleeper bus in Delhi's Rani Bagh area late Monday night. The police have seized the bus used in the crime and registered an FIR based on the victim's statement, launching a massive manhunt for the accused.

The victim lives in a slum in Pitampura and works at a factory in Mangolpuri. After finishing her night shift, she was walking home when she reached the B-Block bus stand in Saraswati Vihar. A sleeper bus was parked there. When she asked a young man standing at the bus door for the time, instead of answering, the accused forcibly pulled her inside.
