New Delhi, May 9 -- Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav on Saturday criticised the Delhi Government over the condition of government schools in the national capital, alleging that the BJP-led administration has failed to improve school infrastructure and educational facilities despite being in power for over a year.

Yadav said it was surprising that Chief Minister Rekha Gupta had to visit a Government Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Roop Nagar to assess issues such as drinking water availability, fire safety, toilet conditions, cleanliness, shortage of teachers, and overall academic environment in schools.
