New Delhi, June 27 -- Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav on Saturday held a crucial meeting of state unit's Lok Sabha in-charges, District in-charges and Assembly observers at the DPCC, and sought three names from each ward to pick Congress candidates for the MCD elections next year.
The meeting was held in a bid to strengthen the organisation and disseminate the party's ideology, principles at the booth level to enlighten the grass-root level workers.
The meeting sought three names from each ward in the next 15 days, consisting of a woman, a SC candidate and a general candidate for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections next year.
