New Delhi, July 10 -- Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav on Friday criticised the BJP government and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) over waterlogging, garbage accumulation, and the increasing threat of mosquito-borne diseases following heavy rainfall in the national capital.
Yadav alleged that stagnant water and uncollected garbage have significantly increased the risk of dengue and malaria, while the BJP's "triple-engine government" is preoccupied with strengthening its numbers in the MCD by engineering defections from the opposition.
