New Delhi, April 27 -- The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) has alleged the existence of a large and organized network involved in the manufacture and distribution of fake life-saving medicines in the national capital, and called for strict action against those responsible.

DPCC President Devender Yadav claimed that Delhi has emerged as a wholesale and redistribution hub for counterfeit medicines being supplied through both online and offline channels. He alleged that the scale of the operation points to regulatory lapses and possible collusion of officials, though no independent confirmation of such involvement has been presented.
