New Delhi, May 3 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has urged the residents of Delhi to help prevent illegal felling of trees across the city, and to come forward and report authorities concerned upon noticing any such activity.
CM, through a video message posted on her X handle, conveyed to the public that the green cover across the national capital needs to be increased, and her government is working on that with multiple initiatives, asking people to extend their support for the cause.
Ms Gupta claimed that during the upcoming monsoon season, her government is going to plant as many trees, that such a number no one would have planted in the past under any drive, or even could have thought of.
