Varanasi, July 18 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta participated in the revered Ganga Aarti held at Dashashwamedh Ghat in the holy city of Kashi on Saturday evening.

She, along with her family members, worshipped the riverine goddess Ganga as per Vedic rites and sought blessings, praying for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the country. She also lit a lamp on the banks.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta wrote in the Ganga Seva Nidhi visitor book, "I consider myself fortunate to participate in the Ganga Aarti today. I offer my respects at the feet of Mother Ganga.
