New Delhi, March 24 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday presented a Rs 1,03,700 crore budget for Delhi for the financial year 2026- 27.
The impetus is on having a Green Budget' with a 21 per cent allocation for initiatives aimed at environmental conservation. According to CM the capital expenditure has also been increased as compared to the previous year, to further boost infrastructure development.
The aim is to develop city and not leave any part behind, and also give a push to the economy.
The budget estimates for 2026-27 is Rs 3700 crore higher as compared to the previous year, which was Rs 100000 crore.
