New Delhi/ Varanasi, July 19 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday offered prayers along with her family at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi on the occasion of her birthday, seeking blessings of Lord Shiva.
Gupta, along with her family, visited and offered prayers, and visited different revered temples at the holy city, and sought blessings that India may touch new peaks of glory, prosperity, and may the spirit of service, good governance, and public welfare continue to illuminate the lives of one and all.
The Delhi CM paid obeisance at the shrines of Kashi Vishwanath and Kal Bhairav, the guardian deity of Kashi, and also performed Jalabhishek at the feet of Baba Kashi Vishwanath, along with her family.
