New Delhi, May 22 -- In an initiative to provide Delhi residents with well-designed public spaces that promote greenery, health, recreation and community engagement, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday laid the foundation stone for an Oxygen Park to be developed across three acres in Mukhmelpur village, part of North West Delhi's Burari assembly constituency.

According to Gupta, the Forest Department has sanctioned Rs 1 crore for the project, while an additional Rs 1 crore will be provided from her MLA discretionary fund.

She directed officials to ensure that the park is equipped with modern amenities and developed to make it among the finest parks in Delhi.
