New Delhi, Jan. 26 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Republic Day invited a cross-section of peple living in JJ clusters in Delhi, including several women, at the CM Jan Seva Sadan, and had lunch with them. The CM informed them about the approval of infrastructure projects worth Rs 327 given by the Cabinet to improve basic facilities across slum clusters in the national capital.
Out of this, projects worth Rs 144 Cr have already been awarded, she said.
Interacting with the guests, the CM hit out at the previous AAP government, alleging that it looked at slums dwellers as mere vote bank and an atmosphere of fear was created amongst the slum dwellers.
