New Delhi, Feb. 9 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday handed over financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of four Delhi residents who lost their lives in the tragic Goa nightclub fire incident, officials said.
The fire broke out on December 6 at the 'Birch by Romeo Lane' nightclub in Arpora, Goa, claiming the lives of four members of the same family from Sadatpur Extension in Delhi. The deceased were identified as businessman Vinod Kumar (42), Anita Joshi (42), Saroj Joshi (41) and Kamla Joshi (44).
At a programme held at the Delhi Secretariat, the Chief Minister met the bereaved family and handed over a total assistance amount of Rs 40 lakh to Bhavana Joshi and other family members.
