New Delhi, Sept. 27 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the Opposition over its allegations against the Election Commission, accusing its leaders of attempting to undermine public confidence in constitutional institutions and demanding that cases of treason be registered against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other Opposition leaders.
Gupta said questioning the electoral process whenever election results did not go in the Opposition's favour was neither appropriate nor in the national interest, and accused the Opposition of diverting public attention from development and its own failures by creating unnecessary controversies.
