Lucknow, Nov. 12 -- The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Tuesday detained for questioning Dr. Parvez Ansari, brother of Dr. Shaheen Shahid, as part of intensified operations following the recent blast in Delhi that killed at least 13 people and injured several others.
According to sources, Dr. Parvez Ansari had resigned from Integral University just a week before his detention. On Tuesday, teams from the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the UP ATS conducted raids at multiple locations linked to him.
During a search at his residence in Madiyaon, authorities recovered a Samsung laptop, a mobile phone, and several documents stored in a black bag.
