New Delhi, Aug. 9 -- The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday launched a city-wide Tiranga Yatra campaign as part of the Independence Day celebrations, with thousands of party leaders, workers and youth participating in marches across several districts.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, in a post on X, said Delhi had also joined the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' celebrations from August 9.
"Every wave of the tricolour embodies the pride of the motherland, the immortal memory of the heroes' sacrifices, and the resolve for India's bright future," she wrote, urging people to hoist the Tricolour at their homes, inspire others and celebrate the campaign.
Gupta said the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' festival would continue in Delhi until August 17.
