New Delhi, April 21 -- With a renewed focus on one of the capital's most pressing environmental challenges, the Delhi Legislative Assembly Secretariat has sent the third report of the Committee on Public Accounts to authorities concerned for necessary action to mitigate air pollution.
The report is based on the Comptroller and Auditor General of India's Performance Audit on "Prevention and Mitigation of Vehicular Air Pollution in Delhi" for the year ended 31st March 2021.
The Action Taken Report is required to clearly indicate the status of implementation of the Committee's recommendations as on 31st December 2026, and is to be submitted to the Assembly Secretariat by 31st January 2027, officials said on Monday.
