New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- In view of the invocation of Commission for Air Quality Management's anti-pollution Graded Response Action Plan's stage-I, and the need for coordinated action to control air pollution, an inter-state coordination meeting was held today, chaired by Delhi Traffic Police Special Commissioner Ajay Chaudhary.
The important coordination meeting was attended by representatives of departments concerned, civic agencies and police authorities of neighbouring states and districts across the NCR.
Special emphasis was laid on preventing the entry of non-compliant inter-city and inter-state buses into Delhi-NCR.
Such buses must be diverted at the borders itself, as their diversion after entering Delhi leads to traffic congestion ...
