New Delhi, April 11 -- Delhi Police's Cyber Cell in Shahdara has busted an online investment fraud racket and arrested three accused persons for allegedly cheating a local resident of Rs 10 lakh through a fake high-return stock market scheme.

According to police, the victim was lured in December 2025 through a WhatsApp group where fraudsters promised assured and lucrative returns on stock market investments. Trusting their claims, the complainant transferred a total of Rs 10 lakh. However, after receiving the money, the accused neither provided returns nor refunded the amount and eventually cut off all communication.
