New Delhi, Sept. 14 -- Delhi police recovered a bag containing cash worth Rs 3 lakh in Indian and US currency of a South African BRICS delegate from a cab within 35 minutes of receiving information about its disappearance, an official said today.
Police returned the said bad shortly before the delegate's scheduled departure, they said.
The delegate, attending BRICS summit in Delhi, had visited a mall in Gurugram. After returning to a hotel in central Delhi, he realised that his small bag containing the cash was missing, police said.
At 7:10 pm on Sunday, police received information about the missing bag.
