New Delhi, March 5 -- A 28-year-old man was arrested by police along with seven juveniles who were apprehended for their alleged involvement in the murder case of a teenager in Delhi's Model Town, an official said on Thursday.
According to the police, the accused, Mohit Pal, a resident of Jahangirpuri, is believed to be the key conspirator behind the murder of 18-year-old Ishant.
"The matter came to light on February 22 after police were informed about an injured man near the main gate of MCD Colony in Azadpur," a senior officer said.
A police team found the youth lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds. A scooter and a motorcycle without a number plate were also found abandoned at the spot.
