New Delhi, May 10 -- In a move to provide relief amid the extreme heat to the citizens, Delhi government is implementing measures under its "Heat-wave Action Plan," and as part of the initiative, the Old Delhi district administration on Saturday set up a cooling zone near the Jama Masjid.
A tent-like structure has been erected to provide comfort and relief to the people, while they venture out in the rising temperatures.
These cooling zones have been equipped with coolers, seating arrangement and other such amenities to make people feel comfortable, while staff from the government will also be available to assist people.
