New Delhi, June 7 -- Delhi Government's strict campaign against illegal constructions, encroachments and violations of building safety norms continued across the capital on Sunday. A total of 130 sites across the city's districts were inspected by the revenue department, and accordingly notices were issued to them, while sealing and required actions were taken at several places.
As per the MCD's action taken report today, 126 properties, where rules were violated, were sealed. Demolitions were carried out at 97 places, and 84 show cause notices were issued. A total of 41 sealing show cause notices and 33 demolition orders were issued.
