Mumbai, June 24 -- Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has welcomed the International Cricket Council's (ICC) latest maternity return policy for women cricketers, calling it "a landmark moment for women in sport".

Sharing a report on the initiative on her Instagram stories, Padukone praised the move, which aims to help women athletes return to professional cricket after childbirth.
