Jaishankar purportedly requesting US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US President Donald Trump to hand over the handlers of a so-called "Cockroach Janta Party" to India has gone viral on social media, prompting the government's fact-checking agency to issue a clarification.
The Press Information Bureau's (PIB) Fact Check Unit on Monday said propaganda-linked social media accounts were circulating a digitally altered and AI-generated video falsely attributing remarks to the External Affairs Minister.
